White Circle Crime Club is an alternative indie rock band from Antwerp, Belgium. Starting out in playing in Minor Threat-alike, straightforward hardcore bands in the late nineties, with several years of extensive touring through Europe, White Circle Crime Club has always known how to combine youthful energy with great songs. The "Nic Fit Untouchables" cover on Sonic Youth's Dirty album and the discovery through that of the Flex Your Head/Dischord sampler brought these guys back then to playing fast and angry hardcore punk. A musical love for distorted guitars with an edge and teenage memories of 1991 (the year punk broke) could easily erase and replace the narrow-mindedness of said scene.

A Present Perfect is the 2006 sophomore album by Belgian band White Circle Crime Club, known for their fusion of noise rock, post-punk, and experimental sounds. Building upon the foundation laid by their 2005 debut Written in Black, this album continues to showcase the band's distinctive style.

Critics have noted that A Present Perfect maintains the band's commitment to stylistic diversity and individuality. The album features ten unique tracks, each with its own sonic character, blending elements reminiscent of Sonic Youth's noise rock and Wire's post-punk sensibilities. While the album may not surprise listeners as much as their debut, it still offers a compelling and cohesive listening experience.

With a runtime of approximately 35 minutes, A Present Perfect offers a concise yet immersive journey through the band's eclectic soundscape. For listeners interested in exploring a blend of experimental rock influences, this album serves as a testament to White Circle Crime Club's artistic evolution.
