Debut release from Klang Valley-based heavy stoner/sludge metal, Khayall. The band comprises several local scenesters that active playing bands in the late 90s towards mid 2000s — Aghast, Relationsheep, ABC Weapon, Quest Of Quarza, Sarjan Hassan, to name a few. The demo delivers 20 minutes of heavy riffs accompanying themes like social decay, doomsday and weed. Khayal is Bart (vocals), Mirdza (drums), Apizz Cash (bass) and Haziman (guitar). All tracks were recorded by Tom Bollocks at Laguna Studio. Mastered by Cdoth Jahanam. Front cover art by Kojak (Kojek), a local surreal painting artist, who also used to (or still) play bass in Aghast, Enslaved Chaos, Rukun Serigala and Ibnu Rizzla. For fans of Weedeater, Bongzilla and Eyehategod. Khayall is one of a few local bands that dive into the Sludge/Doom/Stoner sub-genre from Malaysia, circa 2000 - 2015, before tonnes of local bands started making music under the stoner-rock umbrella afterwards.
