Simfoni Ketiak Berachun / Shitnoise Bastards
Puki! Apa Ini?! — Split EP, Cassette Tape
Simfoni Ketiak Berachun is an avant-garde duo — Farid Ayam (kazoo, harmonica, words) and Man Iblis (violin, guitar). Not much information about them can be found on the internet. They played several gigs and art spaces which would corrugate the audience with sarcasm and morbid humor. Poetry and spoken words about life, reality, political and social criticism; while backed by atonal and unstructured Captain Beefheart-ish noisescape. "Terima kasih atas tepukan palsu."
Shitnoise Bastards, on the other side of the tape, is a noisecore trio having prolific releases in many formats since 2012. Up to date (of this release), they have 81 releases and more to come. Recorded at their place, Freddy Krüger basement in March 2014. They embrace DIY ethos to the maximum in-and-out. Screaming, growling, distorted grinding strings, noises, famous quotes sampling and blast-beat drumming.
Both acts are from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Artworks by Norman Iblis.
